Equipment Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

Tesla, Inc. is seeking skilled and motivated Equipment Maintenance Technicians to join its Engineering & Information Technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex industrial and mechatronic equipment used in Tesla's production environment. This position plays a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency and minimizing equipment downtime. Hiring immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on industrial production and mechatronic equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures and determine root causes to improve reliability.
• Perform major equipment repairs, rebuilds, and installations.
• Collaborate closely with Process and Equipment Engineering teams to optimize systems.
• Execute Corrective Maintenance (CM) to ensure continuous and safe equipment operation.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Comply with all safety regulations and practices in an industrial setting.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications or associate degree preferred.
• Previous experience in maintenance of industrial or mechatronic equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.

Expected Compensation:

The expected compensation for this role ranges between $24.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience, location, and qualifications. Overtime pay may be available based on schedule and workload.
