Claims Processor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Claims Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and a compassionate approach to resolving insurance claims. You will be responsible for managing the claims process from intake to resolution, working collaboratively with internal teams, customers, agents, and vendors. This role requires attention to detail, multitasking ability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review and determine payment of minor, undisputed, and/or limited authorization claims.
• Assign all other claims to the appropriate adjuster for further handling.
• Verify coverage and damage reports for accuracy and consistency with the claim as reported.
• Audit bills to detect possible fraud and escalate findings to management as needed.
• Prepare and submit administrative reports as required.
• Support claims associates and managers with administrative and operational tasks.
• Communicate effectively with customers, agents, and vendors via phone, email, and text.
• Manage pending claims, send regulatory letters, and issue claim payments as required.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of directly related experience in financial or insurance claims processing.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must be available for onsite work every business day (remote work not permitted).
