Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by going above and beyond to ensure that customers feel satisfied with their shopping experience.
• Build and keep up a sound comprehension of the products sold in the area of expertise and skillfully address questions and suggest options for the products.
• Collaborate with the store management team to execute the adult beverage category display plans and special in-store promotions.
• Keep track of trends in the adult beverage industry and how they relate to product names and definitions.

• Recommend seasonal beers, wine or spirits that are perfect for festive occasions or holidays.
• Proper labeling, packaging and inventorying of merchandise is an essential component of any successful logistics operation.
• Keep a close eye on product quality by regularly checking sell-by dates and taking steps to prevent the sale of expired or spoilt goods.
• Assign categories, create labels and maintain an inventory record of department merchandise.
• Report any discrepancies in product orders or shipments to the department manager without delay.
• Focus on the good things in your life rather than the negative aspects.
• Stay in the loop about the contemporary, prospective, special, and unique ads.
• It's important to keep cases and coolers at optimum temperatures and maintain temperature records.
• Comply with safety regulations and immediately notify store management of any unsafe conditions to minimize hazards.
• Through regular equipment inspections, it is possible to prevent malfunctions from occurring, and by reporting any defects to the appropriate department or store supervisor, it is possible to avoid unnecessary equipment downtime.
• It is essential to inform the management as quickly as possible about any accidents that involve customers or employees.
• Any indication or suspicion of safety risks or illegal activities, including robbery, theft, or fraud, must be reported immediately to the authorized personnel for further actions.

Qualifications:

Minimum

• Age Limit Set at 21
• The competence to deal with stressful circumstances with composure is a vital quality for personal and professional growth
• Effective communication skills
• Familiarity with basic math operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is necessary for many jobs

Desired:

• Beer/Wine/Liquor experience
• Mastery of imported and domestic categories, their flavor attributes, and the means of production.
• In order to stay relevant to their customers and provide the best products possible, businesses must be knowledgeable about the industry trends in specialty wines and beers.
• Retail experience
• Proficiency in a second language is achieved by improving communication skills through speaking, reading and writing
