Job Summary

As a Retail Store Associate at Savers / Value Village, you will create an exceptional experience for our customers, donors, and team members. We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions. You will work in a purpose-driven company that champions reuse and sustainability, helping to reduce waste while supporting local nonprofit organizations.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Provide an excellent shopping experience by assisting customers, answering questions, and ensuring a welcoming store environment.
• Merchandise Handling: Organize and maintain the store's merchandise, ensuring items are well-presented and easily accessible to customers.
• Donation Acceptance: Assist in the collection of donated items and ensure they meet company standards for quality and safety.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to maintain store organization and customer satisfaction.
• Store Maintenance: Help keep the store clean, organized, and stocked with merchandise, creating an enjoyable shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: No previous retail experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Customer-Oriented: Enjoy working with customers and providing a high level of service.
• Physical Ability: Ability to stand for long periods and lift items as necessary.
• Team Player: Ability to work well in a team environment.
