Position Responsibilities:

- Put your wide-ranging business acumen to work in examining and diagnosing emerging market developments, and in devising and implementing proactive business improvement plans.
- Responsible for taking the lead in the implementation and execution of programs that prioritize customer satisfaction, including nutrition standards, pet companion sales, seasonal campaigns, and premium services, in order to exceed targeted sales objectives.
- Adapting sales strategies to incorporate an Omni Channel approach with a focus on guest requirements, such as integrating services, veterinary services, loyalty programs, BOPUS, Endless Aisle, and Repeat Delivery into the options provided.
- The Leader on Duty at the Pet Care Center plays a critical role in supporting the effective execution and implementation of company initiatives, policies, and procedures, while also handling guest escalations and promotions.
- Facilitate each guest's transactions in a way that leaves a positive lasting impression.
- Follow the selling model as a standard and offer support to customers during their visits.
- The effectiveness and productivity of the Pet Care Center is highly connected to the management of the team responsible for recruitment, hiring, education, confirmation, acknowledgement, appraisal, and growth. This role also entails implementing successful selling strategies and techniques for providing superior customer service.
- Utilize Petco selling behaviors when creating the weekly schedule to maximize sales floor coverage and enhance interaction with guests.
- Instill a positive leadership culture that prioritizes teamwork, inclusivity, and collaboration by providing clear direction and setting well-defined priorities that demonstrate a genuine passion for both people and pets.
- Maintaining replenishment and brand standards is a crucial task at the Pet Care Center, and the assistant works with the operations team to accomplish this.
- The Petco Leadership Expectations are mandatory for Solution Managers to exhibit and endorse.
Other Essential Duties:
- Lead by example in demonstrating compelling leadership and salesmanship to the Pet Care Center team. Promote a proactive and optimistic business environment that instills motivation to pursue organizational objectives. Advocate for change and advancement in the company by being a persuasive voice.
- Strict Adherence to Safety: Safety comes first in Petco. To attain this objective, it is crucial to observe Petco's safety protocols, policies, and procedures. We must also make sure any new regulations are adequately implemented in the Pet Care Center.

Supervisory Responsibility:
- It is essential to have a high school diploma or its equivalent to qualify for this opportunity; attending college-level courses in business or management would be advantageous.
- The job requirements for this position include a minimum of 2 years of management experience or an equivalent level of experience, and the candidate should ideally have 3 years or more of experience.
- Having a legitimate driving license is essential to operate a motor vehicle.

- Directly supervising solutions specialists, grooming salon leaders, dog trainers, solutions LOD, and solutions generalists is the main responsibility of a solutions manager.
- By working closely with Vetco and Vet Hospital, the Solutions Manager will be accountable for influencing their guest strategies and achieving meaningful results.
- Develop effective recruiting and retention tactics to keep top performance-oriented personnel within the company, and employ sound hiring procedures when selecting ideal candidates.
Work Environment:
The position of pet care center assistant necessitates weekend availability and the ability to work during peak sales hours. Although the majority of duties are done indoors, the employee may need to carry out customer purchases, stock inventory, or handle bank deposits outdoors.
